Kodili Ezeike donates N25,000 for Children's Centre

The Children's Centre acknowledges with thanks a gift of N25,000 (approximately $175) from Kodili Ezeike, our former committee member and secretary of UWA from 1987-90, now resident in the United States. The donation will be used in part to build a glass-covered cabinet to display photo albums and historic documents.

Ogonna Agu and New York friends donate digital camera

Friends from the New York public schools joined hands in raising money to buy a digital camera for the Children's Centre. This followed their observation of our need during joint participation in the Virtual UN Global Water Summit early in 2008. Initiated by Ogonna Agu (daughter of Louis and Pauline Agu) and Rebecca Llach, other contributors include Fawn Moskowitz, Robert and Gloria Llach, Sean Clark, Devon Dawkins, Angelo Maxwell, and Yadira Ferrer. The Children's Centre is very grateful for this kind gesture!

To encourage further development he and his family donated N30,000, sent through his mother Mrs. Bessie Umeh in December 2007.
